I am a physician and have been so for 47 years…. I think this is a great subject but the way I,t has been dealt with so far is to further SHAME the daughters for their choices,….. At the ti me of whatever they were doing most of them were acting in ways that they. Did not understand we’re coming from unconscious drives… I think a much better approach is to cradle the hurt child, acknleledge her p ain and let her know that. She can forgive herself and act with kindness toward that hurt child inside and nurture her not shame her as Lana does, Thanks
